Beginning artists of all ages will enjoy this easy-to-use draw program, which was designed to let you create pictures and interact with them, without any prior drawing program experience. Picasso Jr. is unique in its use of pre-drawn objects, rather than merely providing you with drawing tools. We have also included many features which make it intuitive for the user.
A feature which is unique to Picasso Jr. is its use of modules. Each Module is a set of new objects and sounds which may be loaded onto the tool palette. They each have a different theme (ocean, dinosaur, etc.), and may be added at any time. There is no limit to the number of modules that may be used at one time. Under development at this time is Module-Maker, a program which will allow users to create their own modules with custom objects and sounds to be used with Picasso Jr.
Picasso Jr. also allows you to print your drawings in color, provided you have a color capable printer (this includes printing with a color ribbon on an ImageWriter II).

Because this version of Picasso Jr. is available for demonstrative purposes only, the following limitations have been imposed:
SAVE
Files which are created may not be saved. However, the printing has not been disabled.
FIVE OBJECTS
Each file is limited to a total of 5 objects at one time. In the complete version you are limited only by available memory.
SOUNDS
Due to size constraints, the letter sounds which normally accompany the use of the text tool, have been excluded.
MODULES
A module has not been included. Thus, the arrows at the top of the tool palette are inactive.
The use of sound and color, along with a variety of modules, help to make Picasso Jr. a source of continued enjoyment. You are limited only by your own imagination!
Copies of Picasso Jr. which are purchased before January 1,1992 will sell for $39. An Alphabet module will be included free of charge with this version. Future modules will be priced around $15.
